BEWARE, Went there this evening and their tortillas have dairy in them. I was ordering the guacamole burrito, and the server said their tortillas are not vegan and have dairy, but she said their Corn (yellow and blue) do not. They served the burrito components on a plate with a side of corn tortillas. It was DELISH! Previous reviews mention their tortilla is vegan, so I'm not sure if they recently changed.

Server gave us crap about asking for food without butter. Food took ages to come out with no apology and then said it was our fault because we ordered things differently. Food was mediocre. We will not be back.

We are here once a week on average. I'm surprised by the review claiming the server "gave them crap." This has never happened to us. Or order came out wrong maybe twice in more than 5 years of dining here regularly.

Hard shell tacos with black bean or pinto bean filling minus cheese & sour cream are vegan. Add some guacamole in lieu of the dairy and you will have a delicious taco dinner. (Don't forget to say no cheese on your side of beans that comes with the dinner.)

I think that the person who was told that the tortillas have dairy in them was misinformed. The tortillas have always been brushed with a butter wash for burritos and you just have to tell the server you want it vegan, without butter. There are many more things you can veganize here than listed on this page, for example tacos and enchiladas. Just about anything there can be made vegan because they have vegan taco shells, tortillas, and chips along with vegan black beans, pinto beans, and even vegan rice. Although nothing on their menu is currently designated as "vegan", Pasqual restaurants are excellent choices for vegans.

There's an option to add vegan tofu sofritas to enchiladas, burritos, or tacos and they're really good!
