Vegan Menu Items

  • Dough Knots - can be made vegan

  • Scratch Made Minestrone
  • Italian Chef Salad

Build your own pizzas (vegan dough) with a house made red sauce base, and a choice of vegan toppings: Caramelized onions, red onions, basil, spinach, green olives, asparagus, kalamata olives, tomato, pepperoncini, arugula, artichokes, roasted red pepper, herb roasted mushrooms, roasted yellow peppers, and sundried tomatoes.

Note: The gluten free dough is not vegan, but all the regular dough is.

In the past when I went to Luigi's, I would just get some dough knots without cheese. Today, I noticed a sign
in the front door saying something like "Vegan options! Just ask your waiter!" So I asked the waitress about it.
She suggested I try the mozzerella bread with olive salad, but that she would switch the bread for some without cheese.
Apparently they couldn't do that, so I just had the "olive salad" (which wasn't even a salad, just green and
kalamata olives). I always loved going to Luigi's because of the awesome staff and nice atmosphere, but they are not very vegan-friendly.

I am glad to see that Luigi's has updated their vegan offerings. The website used to say that all the pizzas could be made vegan as well. I ordered a pizza and dough knots without cheese since according to the web site, these were vegan options. Luckily, they messed up the order and put cheese on them because when I pointed out the mistake the very sarcastic and unapologetic manager let me know that the dough had egg in it and wasn't vegan anyway. I would double check that the dough knots can actually be made vegan if you order from here. Not impressed!

Note: Since this review, Luigi's has added vegan dough and is looking into vegan cheese too!
